2007年年底剛退伍便許下一個心願，當時的夢想便是前往墨爾本和雪梨自助行，
並觀賞澳洲網球公開賽。但為了節省門票錢，便只預訂了第二輪(第四天1/17 夜場)和第三輪(第五天1/18日場)兩天的門票，
後來又忍不住多買了第一 1/14 、二天 1/15 的ground pass，以及遇到台灣YHA同伴，一起前往的第六天1/19 夜場，
觀賞到了包括Ivanovic, Jankovic, Safin, Henin, V. Williams, Hewitt...等球員，
也去了包括 1/14-- National Design Centre, Federation Square, Flinders Station, Melbourne Park (澳網比賽所在地)，
1/15-- Fitzory Garden,
1/16-- Victoria are centre, National gallery Victoria, Royal Botanic Garden, Coles (Super Market),
1/17--ACMI (Moving image),
1/19--David Jones, Myer, China Town, Queen Victoria Market, Block Arcade, circle tram
1/20--Melbourne Uni, Lygoon Street, City circle tram, Royal Arcade, Cœurs @ Nova in Lygon
1/21--I'm not there @ Nova in Lygon/ Mel Museum, Carlton Garden, Circle tram, Fed square, 57.tram/ Abb. Rd.

大致的行程如上所述，所住的便是YHA系統的兩間旅店，晚餐有時自己煮泡麵吃，
或是在超市買三明治，非常喜歡在公園野餐，看澳網時基本上也是如此解決，
在墨爾本也抽空看了兩部電影:
Cœurs / Alain Resnais, I'm not there / Todd Haynes
很幸運過了八年後 (2016 2/7~2/13) 能有機會再與家人在二月的春節重遊雪梨和墨爾本，還多去了布里斯本和黃金海岸，
吃了丁骨牛排、Brisbane Southbank, Kangaroo point, sky point 87 大廈 (Gold coast),
Dreamworld 急流泛舟、火山歷險、無尾熊/羊毛秀、藍光螢火蟲 ----等，
留待下回有機會再跟大家分享。
最後紀念在旅程中得知往生消息的澳洲演員希斯·萊傑 Heath Ledger(1979.4.4~2008.1.22)，
在旅程中才剛看了他有參與演出的"搖滾啟示錄 I'm not there",
沒想到一天後即得知他離世的消息，1.23 在雪梨當代藝術館又看到了館方早已預訂播放"斷背山"，
真有說不出的巧合、更令人不勝唏噓。
